Mary J Howell won the Cinnamon Press Novel Award for Murielle’s Angel. One of her short stories was published by Honno in the anthology Dancing with Mr Darcy. She recently completed an MA in creative writing at the University of Bangor.
When not writing she fills her days with gardening and reading. She lists dancing, family and friends, shades of blue, singing and apples among her loves. Writing a book was high on her ‘list of things to do before I die.’ So too was walking the Camino; doing both together, just happy accident.
She has lived in Manchester longer than she has lived anywhere but hopes to beat that record in North West Wales where she now lives with views of sunsets over the sea.
